Attabotics

FEBRUARY 23, 2024

CALGARY, Alberta - Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited ("CTC") and Attabotics Inc. ("Attabotics") have entered into a confidential full and final settlement in relation to the litigation that Attabotics initiated against CTC in May 2023 before the Ontario Superior Court pertaining to a fire on March 15, 2023 at CTC's A.J. Billes Distribution Centre located at 8550 Goreway Drive in Brampton, Ontario ("DC Fire"). CTC defended Attabotics' claim and counterclaimed against Attabotics, seeking damages in respect of the DC Fire.

The A.J. Billes Distribution Centre services Canadian Tire retail stores nationally. Attabotics designed and produced an automated storage and retrieval system that was used in the A.J. Billes Distribution Centre.

Remediation efforts and investigation into the cause and origin of the DC Fire have been underway since March 2023. No findings have been made with respect to the cause and origin of the DC Fire.
